Description
Kashmiri Snow Mountain Garlic is also known as Allium sativum L., Allium schoenoprasum. It is a subspecies of garlic mostly found in the higher and mountainous regions of Kashmir. The Western Himalayas produce it very well and in huge quantity. It grows with a very low amount of oxygen at a very low temperature at around -10⁰ C.
Kashmiri Snow Mountain Garlic is very small in size than the normal / commercial garlic we use on our daily basis with a very pungent smell.
Kashmiri Snow Mountain Garlic or Pothi garlic is rich in a lot of nutrients. Manganese, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin C, Selenium, Phosphorus, Calcium, Vitamin B-1 are found in very good amounts in it, due to which it helps in improving cancer, thyroid, asthma, cholesterol level.
